A licence does not automatically create screenings

The national release-licence record confirms eligibility for public exhibition, but it does not assign cinema sessions. Cinemas still weigh presales, audience, calendar competition and current performance.

A film can therefore be theatrically released yet remain hard to find locally. Low initial scheduling is both an outcome and a constraint on future discovery.

Distribution explains access, not artistic value

Distributor accounts can explain market access, but cannot by themselves settle whether promotion, finished film and audience expectations aligned. Process and evaluation should remain separate records.

This site places licence records, interviews and ticketing links side by side so readers can see what each type of evidence can—and cannot—answer.
